Orkester Norden
Orkester Norden is a symphony orchestra course for young musicians who are 15 to 26 years old. You can join if you are a music student in Scandinavia or the Baltic States, or if you are a citizen of one of these countries and attend music school in another country. Keep in mind that even if you do not meet all the eligibility criterias, we still encourage you to apply. You will be considered for any potential vacancies in the orchestra.
Orkester Norden symphony orchestra course that runs for appreximately 10 days including section rehearsals with professional instructors and tutti rehearsals with conductors. Course ends up on a tour. Course is free of charge for the ones selected. We provide meals and accommondation during the stay in Lahti, Finland.
How to apply?
1. Request audition materials below and you will also receive an link to our application form at the same time (check your junkmail if you haven’t received the email back).

2. Once you have completed the application form you will receive automatic reply which includes detailed information about how to submit your videos.
3. Record your videos (two) and send them to us before 28.2.2025 (one video for solo pieces and one for excepts, all in one take).
4. You will get the results in March 2025. All the applicants are contacted individually.
